Ahhh, Cypress Cove! When I think of a truly relaxing resort, I think of the Cove. I had visited only once before, back in June of 2003, spending 3 gloriously nude days there with my beautiful girlfriend at the time. Ever since, I’ve been longing to go back. Finally that opportunity came in October of this year on a stopover in Florida on my way to South America. Friends that make their home there invited me to stay with them, and although it was only for 2 days and the weather was rather uncooperative, I found the Cove to be as delightful as I remembered it. This, despite the tremendous damage wreaked upon it by the 2004 hurricane season. Apart from a few less trees on the grounds, there weren’t many clues left as to what had transpired. Kudos to the management and homeowners for the extraordinary repair job! The lakeside restaurant, Cheeks, the spa, the nature trail…Everything was looking as good or even better than it did before the storms. Better still, the legendary friendly nature of the Cove’s residents is intact! Truthfully, Nudistday must say that while there’s resorts that are newer, the Cove is still in a category of its own and highly recommended for true nudists.
