June 1-3, 2012, the Alexis Park Resort in Las Vegas will be the site of a nudist conference, perhaps the first of its kind in the USA. Several businesses catering to nudists already have secured booths at this trade show, and there may be others signing-up in the meantime.

The Nudistclubhouse Expo is organized by Brian Spence, founder and CEO of the similarly named nudist social network. Among confirmed exhibitors are renown resorts such as the Terra Cotta Inn, De Anza Springs, and Cypress Cove. Various print and online nudists will hold court at the event, which will feature presentations by guest speakers such as Susan Weaver, president of the AANR, as well as Spence himself. Spence’s nudist dating site, Singlenudist.com, will have its own booth.

Tickets are just 15 dollars for the two day conference, if you register early online, and they promise a separately ticketed special event for the third day, details of which are not yet available. You can get a special room rate right at the hotel where the convention is being held, the Alexis Park, which is right across from the Hard Rock casino. You cannot be nude at the conference itself, but if enough people sign-up for the “option 2″ lodging plan, which is fifty dollars more per room per night, a wing at another, still unnamed, hotel will be designated as nude.
