I was pretty positive about the changes at the club back when and don't doubt things have improved a lot since. Alexandra will be with me in Florida in 2 weeks, so I'll see if I can talk her into visiting Sunsport on our way to/from Haulover!

Yep - old article... Come on back and write a new one! We're rocking and rolling now - and the clubhouse just got a fresh coat of paint! Now, if I could convince Morley to spend some money on the interior - we're golden.

We could not help but notice that the one reference to a date was August, 2007, when speaking of the Northeast Naturist Festival. Is this interview with resort owner, Morley Schloss really that far back in time? If so, then let us bring you and the "rest of the naturist world" up to date.

First of all, there are three nice cabins on the resort now and at least that many larger trailers outfitted with all of the comforts. In addition to these a small motel was finished last winter, offering four rooms.

Secondly, the entire club house is taking on a brand new look. One side has been completely remodeled, the rear wall was moved back toward the pond, brand new deck railing, screens and stairs to the rear orchid garden and new landscaping. Everyone who has come back this year has "fallen in love" with the changes.

Third, the restaurant is under new management, has hired several employees, including a baker. Everyone is looking forward to fresh baked goodies and of course great reasonably price entrees.

Fourth, we have had WiFi for a while making it nice to be able to sit out on your deck, or at the pool and access the internet.

Fifth, Sunsport is not that difficult to find. The town it is located in is called Loxahatchee, about 20 minutes of West Palm Beach. Yes the roads off Okeechobee Blvd are unpaved and for good reason(everyone out here wants to try to keep the area rural), but they are maintained. We are approximately four miles from Royal Palm Beach via mostly paved roads just south and east of the resort.

Lastly, Sunsport became one of the first resorts in the country to go smoke free, outdoors as well as in, except in designated areas on the property. This move further supports the naturist climate abundant here.

Cheers,
