JACUMBA, CALIFORNIA – DeAnza Springs Resort, in the California desert, is hosting its first “Dancinaked Under the Stars” music festival on May 19, 2007. It will feature a variety of music styles on two different stages. Some of the bands that will be performing are Phat Daddy, Zydaco Patrol, Three Day Ole Beaver, Half Past Zero and 6 Inch Man (Yes, typical modern band names!). Performers aren’t required to be nude. According to Dave Landman, owner of DeAnza, most inquiries about the event have come from nudists, but also there’s been interest from non-nudists who just want to attend for the music.
