Everybody takes pictures to capture precious moments of their lives. Nudists are the same as anyone else, except that it’s not unusual to have a nudist photo album which we show only to those who share our lifestyle.
There’s differences of opinion among nudists on whether such photos should be published, be it on the internet or in print. The “pro” side argues that this is the way we are and we shouldn’t hide it, as that would be tantamount to feeling shame. The “con” side points out that when we publish such images, the main beneficiaries will be voyeurs who, incredibly, think nudism is titillating.
There’s a proliferation of sites who offer large collections of nudist photos online, for a fee. Some make valiant arguments in justifying themselves, but I would challenge them to prove that many naturists would pay to see what they see all the time. It’s much more likely that their paid users are lonely men who find these photos exciting, not real nudists.
Worse still are the sites who offer incentives to men to go out and snap pictures of unsuspecting women and couples on beaches and wherever they might find them. The worst offender is “Coccozella” which has been a voyeur mainstay for years. Chances are, you’re already in one of their collections at this very moment.
With the advent of cell phones with built-in digital cameras, we’ve got to be more vigilant than ever. As proud nudists, we shouldn’t tolerate these creeps exploiting us!
