What Makes a Good Nudist Photo?

If you answered both, you’re right…and you’re wrong! While both are lovely photos using the same female model (and yours truly in one!), and can be published (we just did!) in this or any other nudist-oriented publication, only the bottom one could be classified as a nudist photo in the strictest sense.
The first is a “nude”, the model posing for dramatic effect. The second is what, as a nudist editor or publisher, you would see as a nudist photo, because it’s pretty much the same type of shot you would take of two clothed people, except that this couple happens to be nude! We’re looking for pictures that present nudity as something very casual and natural, in short. That’s pretty much how naturists see nudity!
Nudist photos show people doing normal things, whether it be someone accepting an award, swatting at a tennis ball, admiring an incredible landscape, or just sitting in a restaurant! The sexy bits of the body are not hidden, but neither are they emphasized. Any snapshot intentionally focusing on the vulva or any showing an erection would not be acceptable, no matter what some publications purporting to be aimed at nudists may claim.
