VANCOUVER, BC - Wreck Beach, the famous clothing-optional beach near Vancouver in Canada, is the site of an annual foot race. This year’s edition, the 12th, will be held on Sunday, August 17th at noon. There is a registration fee for runners entering the race, but each participant does receive a free T-shirt, regardless of their finish. Contestants aren’t required to be nude, but most elect to do so, albeit with a hat and shoes, the latter which is absolutely necessary to avoid injury.
