July 15: Swimsuit-Less Day in Spain
SPAIN - The Catalonian Naturist Club (CCN), in association with the Spanish Naturist Federation (FEN) has announced that July 15, 2007 will be the first ever “Swimsuit-less Day” aimed at promoting the benefits of swimming nude throughout the country. Anyone can participate simply by being nude on any one of the country’s beaches where nudism isn’t normally practiced. It’s important to note that for 12 years now, public nudity hasn’t been illegal in Spain, thus participants cannot be charged with an infraction, although local authorities and citizenry might not be aware of this fact. The ultimate goal of this campaign is to make nudity an acceptable and commonplace option at all times and on all Spanish beaches.
