EDINBURGH - The Naked Rambler, as Englishman Stephen Gough is known, was quietly freed last month from Saughton Prison in Edinburgh, Scotland, only to be charged again for walking out of the jail nude. He was later cleared of this charge due to lack of evidence, marking the first time he’s won in a Scottish court, but was arrested yet again April 11th in the Grassmarket area of the city, where he was ambling about naked. Gough has now been arrested a total of eight times for indecent exposure arising from his insistence on being nude in public, which he claims is a basic human right.
