  • Kudumanzi Nudist EcoPark, a naturist venue like no other in the world, is set to officially open on March 3rd, 2007. The name of the resort are a combination of the native words “Kudu” (buck) and “manzi” (waterhole). The 150 square kilometer (95 sq. miles) resort is a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg, and offers nudists the opportunity to roam free through bush lands populated with Giraffes, Impalas, Wildebeest and Zebras, as well as many other large species.
According to Shana Coetzee, managing director for Kalypso Tours and the media representative for SANFED, the nudist association for South Africa, Kudumanzi features 8 chalets and 8 luxury tents. Coetzee also says: “In addition to the chalets there is a large two-story entertainment and dining complex. The upstairs area has a pool table, TV lounge and a bar (All open plan). The outside entertainment area includes an ‘around the fire’ barbecue seated area and a pool with suitable deck chairs and umbrellas”.
Some of the activities offered will include game drives, hiking and quad rides, all nude.
